Joining the Club
Members must be 18 or over. Subscriptions are £15 pa (2012), of which £12.50 goes to the BMC for 3rd party liability insurance. Subscriptions are due at the start of the calendar year.
Please note that we do not have arrangements for training novices. A new member intending to climb must be familiar with basic rope techniques (ie be able to tie on and belay), and hill walkers must be able to use map and compass.
Members may bring children and other family members and friends to club events, but their safety is then the responsibility of the member and they are not be covered by BMC insurance. If space is limited on hut meets it may occasionally be necessary to give priority to club members.
